Stephen Curry once again showed why he is one of basketball’s best players as he led the Golden State Warriors to an exciting overtime win against the Denver Nuggets. The game was filled with big shots and high energy, and Curry’s amazing performance made the difference.
At 37 years old, Curry proved that age has not slowed him down. He scored 42 points, including six three-pointers, and also added seven assists, six rebounds, and three steals. Most of his points came in the second half and overtime, when the game was on the line.

With just under three minutes left in the fourth quarter, Curry took control. He scored 18 points by himself from that point until the end of the game. His deep three-pointer tied the score and pushed the game into overtime. Once extra time began, he continued to dominate. Curry hit another long shot, scored a few key baskets, and made two free throws to seal the win for the Warriors.
Denver’s Aaron Gordon also had a huge night, scoring 50 points and making 10 of his 11 three-point attempts. Despite his strong effort, the Nuggets could not stop Curry’s late scoring burst. His experience and confidence helped the Warriors pull away in the final moments.
This win keeps Golden State undefeated early in the season and reminds everyone that Curry is still a top player in the NBA. Even after 17 seasons, he continues to surprise fans with his skill, energy, and leadership.
For the Nuggets, it was a tough loss despite an excellent offensive game. But for the Warriors, it was another proud moment and a sign that their veteran star can still take over when it matters most.
