There’s a strange quiet that follows heartbreak.

It folds itself into the walls of your home, the spaces between words, the hours of sleep you used to share.
She used to believe love could fix anything—that if you held on tight enough, fought hard enough, forgave deep enough, it would be enough.
But love didn’t stop the silence.
It didn’t stop the lies.
It didn’t stop her from walking away… or him from letting her go.
And yet, there she was, standing on the edge of what they once were, wondering if there’s anything left to return to.
