Hermès Stuns Paris Fashion Week With Bold Leather Brassiere Tops and Quilted Silk Designs

Hermès captivated audiences at Paris Fashion Week with its Spring/Summer 2026 collection, showcasing bold leather brassiere tops, quilted silk coats, and racerback dresses.

Held on October 4, 2025, the runway presentation was set against a minimalist, beach-inspired backdrop featuring benches, sand, and scattered shells. Models strutted in tall riding boots, their silky ponytails swishing, wearing ensembles in muted beige and khaki tones, accented with touches of vivid red in leather trousers, handbags, and scarf motifs.

The collection, designed by Nadege Vanhee, Hermès’ longtime creative director, featured sandy-colored shirts, skirts, and brassiere ensembles cinched with leather straps and delicate lacework. Racerback designs revealed shoulder blades, while leather bra tops held silk fabric in place, covering the chest. The color palette was dominated by muted beige and khaki tones, with a few touches of bright red seen in a leather trouser set, a handbag, and motifs on scarves.

Vanhee’s consistent creative leadership has distinguished Hermès from competitors like LVMH, Kering, and Chanel, all of which are bringing in new designers to counter a downturn in the luxury sector. As Paris Fashion Week continues through October 7, major labels such as Louis Vuitton, Dior, Chanel, Saint Laurent, and Loewe are also showcasing their latest collections.
