Former ‘Real Housewives’ Star Jen Shah Granted Early Prison Release

Former Real Housewives of Salt Lake City star Jen Shah has been approved for an early release from federal prison. Shah has been serving her sentence at a minimum-security prison camp in Bryan, Texas, after she pleaded guilty to wire fraud in 2022.

Shah was originally sentenced to years for running a telemarketing scheme that targeted many people, including older adults. Prosecutors said the scheme tricked victims into paying money for fake business services. Shah later apologized in court and agreed to pay back millions of dollars in restitution.

According to updated prison records, her release date has now been moved to December 10, 2025, which is several months earlier than her previous date in 2026.

The earlier release is believed to be the result of good behavior and participation in programs while in prison. Federal officials have not given specific details, saying they do not discuss individual cases for privacy and safety reasons.

It is not yet clear if Shah will go to a halfway house before returning home. Some inmates spend time in a halfway house to help them adjust to life outside prison. Her team has not confirmed what her next steps will be.

Shah’s manager said the early release is meaningful for her and her family, especially because it brings her closer to being home for the holidays. He also said she has spent her time in prison focusing on personal growth and reflecting on the harm caused by her actions.

Before her arrest, Shah was known for her dramatic personality and strong presence on reality television. Her case drew national attention because of her fame and the seriousness of the fraud charges.

With her new release date, Shah may soon start rebuilding her life after more than two years behind bars. Her return will likely draw public interest as she works to move forward from the events that led to her imprisonment.
