F1 Title Battle Heats Up After Norris and Piastri Are Disqualified from Las Vegas Grand Prix

The fight for the Formula 1 world title has become more intense after Lando Norris and Oscar Piastri were disqualified from the Las Vegas Grand Prix. The two McLaren drivers lost all their race points after officials said their cars did not meet the technical rules.

Norris had finished second in the race, while Piastri crossed the line in fourth place. However, the FIA checked both cars after the race and found that a part under the car, called the “skid block,” had worn down more than the rules allow. Because of this, both drivers were removed from the final results.

This decision has changed the championship picture. Before the disqualification, Norris had a strong lead in the title race. Now, his advantage has dropped to only 24 points ahead of Max Verstappen and teammate Piastri. With two more races left in the season and many points still available, the fight for the championship is now very open.

McLaren apologized to both drivers and fans. The team explained that the problem may have come from the car bouncing on the track and the lack of dry practice time earlier in the weekend because of bad weather. The team said the situation was disappointing but promised to keep pushing for the final races.

For Verstappen, the ruling is a big boost. His win in Las Vegas now brings him much closer to the top of the standings. Many fans believe the last two races in Qatar and Abu Dhabi will now be full of drama, as three drivers still have a real chance of winning the championship.

The Las Vegas Grand Prix was already an exciting event, but the disqualification of Norris and Piastri has turned the title race into one of the most intense finishes in recent years.
